We read mobiles and not dreams

Lisbon, Portugal, 2019

The series created during the Artistic Residence of the PARTES festival in Lisbon:

Connected but disconnected.

We are connected to technology and disconnected from nature. This is the source of our distress.

Can we read our dreams again?

Can we have our dreams back?

Carl Jung said in his last piece of work “Man and his symbols” before his death in 1961:

“I am not denying that great gains have resulted from the evolution of the civilized society. But these gains have been made at the price of enormous losses, which extent we have scarcely begun to estimate.”

Some of the quotes from the book were displayed on colorful mobiles' screens hanging from the ceiling during the exposition.
